TRAIDER
What it is
An independent quantitative finance project. TRAIDER applies machine learning and data driven analysis to automated trading, then tests whether what it finds still holds outside the data it came from. The research and the engineering are the same job here, because a model nobody can run reliably is worth very little. It has been in continuous development rather than finished.

What it shows
TRAIDER shows I can take a financial question and carry it all the way through to something that runs.
Most of the work is testing ideas against real data, then writing software solid enough to trust with the answer. Plenty of ideas do not survive that.
A note on detail
TRAIDER is developed privately. The methodology behind it is proprietary, so this page stays deliberately high level. It describes what the project involves rather than how the system works. There are no performance figures here either.
