Tailrec

What it is

Tailrec is a digital operations company. It builds the systems a business actually runs on, whether that is a website, an internal dashboard, an automation that clears a repetitive job or an integration that finally makes two tools talk to each other. Some of it is AI assisted where that genuinely helps.

Every build starts with the operational problem rather than the technology. I look at how a company works and where its time is going. Whatever gets built is the smallest thing that fixes the problem properly. Technology only earns its place when it serves a clear purpose.

What it shows

Building Tailrec taught me to read a business before writing any code.

I can sit with how a company operates and find the part that is quietly costing it time. Designing the fix is the easier half. The work has also sharpened my commercial judgement. Every build has a cost and the honest question is whether it earns that back once it is running. Maintenance counts as well, because somebody has to live with the thing afterwards.
